Trillium
Trillium Grandiflorum blooms in early spring. This is one of my favourite species. Plants increase by rhizomes. The plants can get as tall as 1.5 feet. The flowers start out white and as they age they turn purple or deep pink. This specimen flower is near the end. Once the leaves are gone the seed pod will remain.
